Guilt by Association

We’ve been friends for 2 years, didn’t won’t to date him because of his looks. I didn’t think he was cute enough. 2 make a long story short I took a chance, we started dating 8 months ago. He’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. He makes me feel like Im the only thing that matters. He promise to never hurt me cause I’ve been hurt before but I know Im safe with him. I now look past his appearance and I feel like I found my other half. He’s my best friend he reads me like a book. I finally found someone who can handle my attitude, he lets me take my frustrations out on him but at the same time he’s not afraid to put me in my place. I was having trouble sleeping at night but when he calls me 2 say goodnight and that he loves me I drift right off. I think about him all day I pray for him more than I pray for myself. The thought of me hurting him or us not being together makes me cry. (Im crying while I’m typing) No man has ever treated me the way he does, I want him in my life forever. Is this really love or do I just like that he treats me better than the other guys I’ve dated?

After 8 months you should have a pretty good idea if it’s love or not. It sounds like you adore him and ride it out and see where it goes.
