Southern Vampire Mysteries Books?
I’ve been watching True Blood (online, we’re only half way through season 1 in my country).. I finished watching season 2 last week, now I have to wait untill summer 2010! I hate long breaks between seasons.. I want to read the books (that the show is.. kind of.. based on) as many of the fans I’ve spoken to have said how good they are, even in comparison to the show which I love (though it began a bit slow-moving, like the books I’m told).
But I’m very confused.
The series is already a 9(?) book series. But there’s also a book with short stories.. and the books have been adapted to "true blood versions" ( the original book differs from the series). What do I buy?? I want a set, as I read quite quickly. What product do you recommend I buy?
Go to wikipedia and buy them in order she wrote them. Don’t worry about the short stories. First one is Dead Until Dark, then Living Dead in Dallas, etc. Like I said, I’d just look up the series on wikipedia.
Don’t bother with the True Blood versions. You’ve seen the series, why read the exact same thing in book form? Go to the originals.
