I'm doing a school project about thinking up the perfect crime. Please list any flaws u see of the following:
To start out, u need a trustworthy partner, 2 working vehicles, 2 cellphones(for u & your partner), rubber gloves 4 your partner, and a gun just in case. U and your partner go to the victim’s house to steal an artifact that is hundreds of years old, worth billions, when the victim isn’t there & u know u can get into the house without setting off an alarm. The partner takes off with the artifact and goes to the hideout. U wait there, knowing the victim won’t be back for an hour, and the victim arrives back at the house a few minutes later. U tell the victim that as long as nothing happens to me, nothing will happen to the precious artifact. U tell’em that you’re calling your partner every 28 min. to make sure nothing’s wrong otherwise the partner BREAKS THE ARTIFACT and that the partner is located somewhere to where the police couldn’t find him in the 28 min between their calls. U take the victim to the bank for the victim to withdraw 2 MILLION DOLLARS to get the ARTIFACT back.
too many flaws…. yes… a good crime no one sees or knows what happened for a long time,,,

Too many flaws to enumerate.

I don’t like the retirement plan of your scheme. 25 – 30 years in the slammer. Go to school, get a job, grow up.

Well, the very first thing is, there is not such thing as a trustworthy partner, when there is a billion dollar artifact that you are only asking 2 million dollars for. Your partner has skipped the country while you are waiting for the victim. But he can be tracked by GPS to find him if he keeps the cell phone you gave him, because cell phones can be tracked by GPS. And then there is the problem with the rest of the story . . .
Say What? | Nov 11, 2007
1. Trustworthy partner is never seen again, sells the artifact on the black market.
2. Victim can ID you.
3. Two cars are seen in the area of the crime.
4. Cameras at bank film you with the victim.
5. Cell phone can’t get a signal and 29 minutes later, partner breaks billion dollar artifact.
There’s more, more, more.
But what kind of class would encourage you to think up crimes?

1- the policy can get lots of places in 28 minutes.
2- no bank is going to let u withdraw 2 mill without asking questions from the withdrawer. in fact the police will know before u can sit down with the bank manager.
3-why not just kidnap the person 2 mill for art with a random no way not believeable.
4-if its worth billions why only ask 2 mill, sell it on black market.
this should get you started on a new idea good luck, happy writing!

The artifact is worth billions? Really? And you only want 2 mil?

First off there is no such thing as the perfect crime, And when I came home and found you in my house, I would probably shoot your dumb but. But anyway, Go ahead and break the artifact because the judge is going to order your but to pay restitution, and if you can’t pay it then you can be sent to a restitution camp and I am going to get my money back anyway while you sit in jail for burglary, kidnapping, and robbery. Also cell phone records can be subpoenaed and you will always leave behind evidence you did not know you could leave behind. You would be so screwed. By the way a bank is not going to let anyone make a with-drawl that large on the spur of the moment. Yeah dude keep trying.
